& Disclaimers
Program Overview
- The Echo2Go Referral Program (“Program”) is a promotional initiative designed to reward existing clients ("Referrers") who refer new patients (“Referees”) for Echo2Go Full-body ultrasound service only.
- Participation in the Program is voluntary. By participating, both Referrers and Referees agree to be bound by these Terms & Disclaimers.
Not Medical Advice or Endorsement
- Referral credits and discounts are not intended to influence medical decision-making.
- Referral incentives are offered only after services are completed, and have no bearing on medical eligibility, urgency, or appropriateness of care.
- Echo2Go reserves the right to refuse service to any referred individual based on clinical judgment, regulatory obligations, or scope of practice.
- The Program is not a substitute for a medical referral from a licensed healthcare provider.
Credit and Discount Conditions
- Referral credits are issued only after the referred patient successfully completes a paid exam.
- Discounts and credits
- Cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Are non-transferable.
- Expire 2 years after issuance.
- May be combined with other promotions only at Echo2Go’s discretion.
Limits on Referral Code Usage
- A single client (Referee) may redeem a referral code only once during the lifetime of their relationship with Echo2Go.
- Referral discounts are valid only on the first full-body ultrasound scan for new patients.
- Multiple codes cannot be combined, and repeated use under different emails or identities is prohibited.
- Any attempt to manipulate or abuse the system (e.g. self-referral, fake accounts) will result in removal from the program and cancellation of any related credits or discounts as well as a full ban from our services.
Privacy & Data Handling
- Echo2Go does not share personal health information (PHI) between referrers and referred individuals.
- The use of referral codes or links does not grant the referrer any access to the referred patient’s booking or medical status.
- The Program is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws including PIPEDA (Canada), HIPAA (U.S.), and provincial health privacy regulations where applicable (law 25).
Compliance with Anti-Kickback and Advertising Laws
- Echo2Go has structured this Program in accordance with Canadian healthcare advertising rules and provincial/territorial prohibitions on inducements in healthcare.
- This Program:
- Does not incentivize referrals from licensed healthcare professionals.
- Is not open to healthcare providers unless explicitly authorized.
- Does not constitute “fee-splitting” or “kickbacks” as defined in professional conduct regulations.
Modifications & Termination
- Echo2Go reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.
- In case of suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms, Echo2Go may:
- Cancel credits.
- Suspend participation in the Program.
- Pursue further remedies including legal action.
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes related to this Program will be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec.
- Users agree to resolve disputes via binding arbitration or mediation prior to litigation, to the extent permitted by law.
