You will need a doctor’s referral for all targeted diagnostic ultrasounds. However, our whole-body preventive Assessment (Prevention & Longevity) does not require a referral, as it is a specialized assessment overseen by our own medical experts.
Only our whole-body ultrasound does not require a referral. For the rest, your physician must give you a prescription for a diagnostic scan and a radiologist-signed report is sent directly to them.
Yes. You may cancel your appointment, but refunds depend on the timing of your cancellation:

You will need a doctor’s referral for all targeted diagnostic ultrasounds. However, our Whole-Body Ultrasound Assessment (Prevention & Longevity) does not require a referral, as it is a specialized assessment overseen by our own medical experts.
The short answer is yes. Ultrasound is highly effective at detecting solid tumors, cysts, and masses in major organs at early stages. While it is a powerful tool for proactive health, it is intended to complement, not replace, traditional screenings like colonoscopies or mammograms.
Both are radiation-free. While MRI excels at imaging the brain and spine, Ultrasound is superior for “dynamic” imaging (viewing blood flow real-time). Many patients have a hard time tolerating the very restricted space and the noise during MRI. Echo2Go is also much more affordable and offers the convenience of a mobile service that comes to your door.
We currently serve the Greater Montreal Area including Laval, Longueuil, South Shore, West Island. Before booking, it is mandatory that you verify your postal code eligibility using our dedicated tool on the main page.
If you’re unsure whether you’re in our zone, contact us by phone or email — we may still be able to come.
Yes. We use state-of-the-art, FDA- and Health Canada-approved diagnostic ultrasound machines, the same technology trusted in leading hospitals and clinics.
Trusted professionals. All scans are performed by board-certified radiologists or OTIMROEPMQ-certified technicians supervised by radiologists. All images are reviewed and reports issued by certified radiologists.
Yes. As a mobile service, we require a safe, flat space to park our specialized vehicle (such as a driveway or accessible street parking) at your location.
No. The vehicle remains fully stationary and safely parked for the entire duration of your visit.
Absolutely. Our vehicles are premium, black, and unmarked with no exterior logos. Our staff is trained to provide a professional and private experience at your home or office.
You will need to provide access to the skin of the areas being scanned. We provide medical gowns and ensure your comfort within our climate-controlled, private mobile clinic.
No. Our visits are fully discreet — our vehicles are black, unmarked, and our staff is trained for discretion.
Yes, a bathroom is available onboard, however it is reserved to be used during specific exams only.
Yes absolutely. You will be comfortable in all seasons.
You will typically receive your report within 72 hours. For Whole-Body assessments, a detailed color-coded report is usually uploaded to your portal within 3 business days.
If a critical finding is identified, you will be informed immediately. We will provide a direct referral to our network of collaborating hospitals and specialists to ensure you receive follow-up care without delay.
No. Echo2Go is a private, non-insured service. We do not bill RAMQ and our reports are not uploaded on DSQ for now. However, our services are often covered by many private insurance plans or can be claimed as a tax-deductible medical expense (depending on your policy).
You’ll get results within 72 hours. If a physician requested the scan, we’ll send results directly to their office first. The results will then also be added to your Echo2Go portal a few days later to allow your doctor to consult them first, as required by law.
Some diagnostic situations may benefit from in-hospital tests or other diagnostic imagery. If so, we recommend and assist your referral—some tests or follow-ups can be done at our partners radiology center, Radiomedic.
If you were referred by a physician (the case for all diagnostic ultrasounds), yes — they will receive your report first. Otherwise, you’ll receive it first and can choose how to proceed.
